As part of its ongoing efforts to be more eco-conscious and cater to the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging, The Woodhouse partnered with Connekt EV Charging to install a state-of-the-art EV charging station, helping to improve charging infrastructure on a key tourist route in Scotland.
The Challenge
Located in a rural setting, The Woodhouse faced unique challenges in providing EV charging services. However, installing a 50kW dual charging station required a significant power upgrade, and the nearby power station needed to be upgraded to meet the demand.
