Connekt and Gouldings Garden Centre enters exclusive EV Charging partnership
Goulding’s Garden Centre is a family run Garden Centre based in the picturesque Clyde Valley village of Rosebank. Over the years, Goulding’s has developed into an award-winning business offering a wide range of Gardening ideas, Stylish Furniture, Gift & Homeware and Farm Shop supplies. Their popular, 150 seater Restaurant offers a wide range of delicious food options and renowned home baking.
To support their EV driving visitors, the company required reliable charging infrastructure with a dynamic back office solution, allowing them to monetise their EV chargers, offset their electricity costs and offer their customers preferential charging rates
Our highly experienced team began the project with a full and comprehensive site survey & meeting with the business owners to understand their needs. Connekts EV charging specialist recommended to install 2 x 22kw dual socket fast chargers with full integration to the Get connected app and network allowing 4 customers to charge their EV’s at any one time.
Connekt carry out all of our work with our own highly experienced in-house team who carry out everything from the initial site survey to the groundworks and electrical installation. All works were carried out whilst the garden centre was in use, maintaining access at all times to customers with minimal disruption to business.

Our 22kw charging solution, based on an average 2 hour charging time offers roughly 180 miles of range – perfect for topping up your car charge whilst you shop or grab a bite to eat. The chargers are connected to our back office system, with drivers signing up via our Get Connekted app.
This allows the business to manage and monitor their charging infrastructure, run reports and generate additional revenue by setting preferential tarrifs and rates to suit their needs with customers having the options to gain preferential charging rates via the Get Connekted app or quick pay via the quick pay QR option (via Apple Pay / Google Pay).
