The Vine Conference Centre, located in Dunfermline, is a premier event space situated approximately a mile from the main M90 and three miles from the shores of the Firth of Forth and the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. The conference centre comprises seven different meeting rooms, ranging from small function spaces to large conference halls. Its scenic location and versatile meeting spaces make the Vine Conference Centre an ideal venue for a wide range of events, from small business meetings to large-scale conferences and exhibitions.
In addition to hosting events, the conference centre is home to the Revive café, which offers specialty coffees, teas, and homemade bakery items. The café also provides wellbeing sessions and hosts baby and toddler groups, making it an ideal spot to unwind and connect with others.
Our team of skilled professionals conducted a thorough site survey and assessed the work required. Based on the assessment and the specific needs of conference centre, we recommended and installed a new dual 22kw fast charging solution which allows two visitors or tenants to charge their vehicles simultaneously whilst visiting or attending one of their many conferences which are held at The Vine conference centre.
Our team was responsible for every aspect of the job, from the initial survey to the excavation, electrical installation, and ongoing maintenance. The charging unit is integrated with our advanced cloud-based management software, which allows drivers to easily sign up and start charging or to quick pay via the QR codes and activate their charge. In addition, appropriate signage was installed to ensure clear direction for visitors and finished with 2 bays being painted and marked for EV charging use only as well as installing a guard pole at the front of the unit to ensure there is no damage to the charging unit.

With an average charging time of 2 hours, our solution can provide approximately 180 miles of range (charging speed depends on the EV's battery type), giving drivers peace of mind on longer journeys. The chargers are connected to our back-office system, which allows businesses to manage and monitor their charging infrastructure, run reports, and generate additional revenue by setting preferential tariffs and rates if desired to suit their needs. Drivers can sign up via our "Get Connekted" app, which also gives them access to preferential charging rates and quick payment options, including the quick pay QR option via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
